The goal of this project is to enhance and expand a workplace communication system that ensures secure, efficient, and user-friendly interactions. Students will apply their skills in software development, cybersecurity, project management, and risk analysis to contribute to a real-world system designed to improve workplace collaboration while maintaining high security and compliance standards.

Deliverables

Software Development:

  • Front-End Development: Design and implement an intuitive, user-friendly interface tailored for workplace settings.
  • Back-End Development: Develop a secure, scalable back-end infrastructure to support the system’s features, including data handling and integration with workplace tools.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

  • Conduct a security assessment to identify vulnerabilities in workplace communication systems.
  • Implement security protocols to protect sensitive conversations and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for potential data breaches or compliance issues.

Project Management & Technical Documentation:

  • Develop a structured project plan outlining milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Document system architecture, functionality, and usage guidelines for both developers and end-users.
  • Create user manuals and technical guides to ensure ease of adoption and future system maintenance.

Testing & Deployment:

  • Conduct user testing to gather feedback on system usability and performance.
  • Implement necessary refinements based on user feedback.
  • Present a final report and demonstration of the developed system.
